About Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs founded his eponymous fashion label in 1993 with business partner Robert Duffy, after making his name as creative director of Perry Ellis, where his controversial 1992 grunge collection made fashion history. Jacobs entered fragrance in 2001 with Marc Jacobs for Women, followed by a men's companion scent in 2002. His signature Daisy launched in 2007 — created by perfumer Alberto Morillas and instantly recognizable for its daisy-capped bottle — becoming one of the best-selling women's fragrance franchises of the 2000s.
