Jimmy Choo was founded in London in 1996 by Malaysian shoemaker Jimmy Choo — who first gained fame designing bespoke shoes for Princess Diana — alongside Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon and Choo's niece, Sandra Choi. The brand built its reputation on glamorous, red-carpet footwear before expanding into handbags, accessories, and fragrance, launching its first signature scent in 2011. Sandra Choi remains creative director today, with the fragrance line — including Jimmy Choo, I Want Choo, and Man — produced under Capri Holdings ownership.
