About Cartier

Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier, becoming one of the world's most celebrated jewelry houses and "Jeweler of Kings" to European royalty. Cartier didn't enter fragrance until 1981, launching Must de Cartier — a bold green amber scent created by perfumer Jean-Jacques Diener that broke from convention and became an instant success. The house's fragrances, including Déclaration and La Panthère, are now developed under in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, continuing Cartier's motto: "Never imitate, always innovate."
