Azzaro was founded in Paris in 1967 by Tunisian-born designer Loris Azzaro, known for glamorous, Mediterranean-influenced fashion. The house entered fragrance in 1975 with Azzaro Couture, followed in 1978 by Azzaro Pour Homme, an aromatic classic still worn today. Azzaro's biggest hit came in 1996 with Chrome, a fresh aquatic that defined a generation of men's fragrance, joined more recently by Wanted (2016) and The Most Wanted (2021).
